- 01Our practice is based in India, as the clinical psychologists are licensed out of India.
- 02All sessions take place online via Google Meet. Virtual therapy has some inherent limitations compared to in-person work (such as internet connection or other tech issues and occasional missed cues), but we try to maintain quality and continuity as best as we can.
- 03A good internet connection, and most importantly - privacy. Our therapists require you to take these sessions from a quiet place with minimal distractions and interruptions. This means no public or shared spaces, and no one else present in the room while you’re taking the session. This does not apply to pets.
- 04Recording of sessions—including video, audio, screenshots, or AI note-taking apps—is not permitted for the client or the therapist, unless mutually agreed upon for a specific purpose. If the session is to be recorded for clinical or supervision purposes, the therapist will first bring this up with the client and only document a portion of, or the whole session after explicit consent is obtained.
- 05This first meeting (up to 60 minutes, free of charge) helps you share what brings you to therapy and get an idea of how your therapist works. We believe that therapeutic fit and comfort are essential, and this session helps you understand whether the space feels right for you.
- 06You can book appointments using the therapist’s Calendly link (found on the website). If you don’t see a suitable time, feel free to reach out to the team for alternatives. A therapist’s availability may not always be reflected on the calendar due to the fluid nature of their schedules that are often determined by cancellations and other short notice requests. As a result, real time updating of calendars might be delayed. We do recommend you email the team or your therapist directly to get more clarity. After a time is mutually decided at the end of a session, a Google Meet invite will be sent to you soon after.
- 07Sessions last 50–60 minutes. Your therapist will discuss how often you might benefit from sessions based on your concerns and goals—usually after the initial consultation or the first paid session. In general, they begin with weekly sessions.
- 08Yes. Services are available to South Asian and international clients, depending on fit, feasibility and any other guidelines that need to be taken into account.
